Cetera Half Marathon Relay

Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 8:30 a.m.

Start: East St. Germain Bridge, Just North of River's Edge Convention Center

If you’re not quite ready to tackle 13.1 miles, grab a friend, relative or complete stranger and take on the Cetera Half Marathon route together. Each of you will contribute 6.5 miles.

About Our Course

Starting on the East St. Germain Street bridge, the Cetera Earth Day Half Marathon course tours the best of St. Cloud!

It includes gorgeous Mississippi River views and trails, tree-lined neighborhoods, the St. Cloud State University campus and — of course — the downtown St. Cloud finish!

Runners will cap off the Half Marathon with a run thru St. Cloud’s historic St. Germain Street. Expect an incredible finish, passing by all the wonderful shops, bars and restaurants of downtown St. Cloud.

Adjacent to the finish line, the Stearns Bank Stage Party will feature live music, free beer (21+) and the best post-race celebration around.

This generally flat half marathon course is the BEST way to kick start your running season!

Shuttle Directions for Half Marathon Relay Teams

The Cetera Half Marathon Relay Exchange Zone is located at 839 Cummings Lane on Clearwater Road (just after Mile 6 of our Cetera Half Marathon)

Trobec’s buses will be running three relay shuttles the morning of the half marathon. They will pick up at the Metro Bus Station in downtown St. Cloud (510 Street South), just 1 block south of our finishline/Stearns Bank Stage/Scheels Expo area. See map below for downtown pick up location. Buses will begin departing at the start of the half marathon. They will run an out-and-back route, staggering every 5-10 minutes. If you are running the second leg of the relay, we encourage you to take these relay shuttle buses to the Half Marathon Relay Exchange Zone.

Below is an overview of the relay exchange zone and the bus drop off area. Life Assembly of God Church has allowed us to use their lots for parking if you prefer to drive your vehicle over to the Half Marathon Relay Exchange Zone. Please note: Make sure your first leg relay partner can drive the vehicle back to the finish area. Remember, downtown street closures will make it difficult/slower to access downtown and parking after the race has started.

Below is an up-close version of the Half Marathon Relay Exchange Zone. From the Trobec’s drop off spot, you must enter the relay exchange zone via the crossing near the bus drop. Police officers will assist foot traffic crossing. Spectators are allowed to be at the exchange zone, but cannot enter inside of the cautioned route and exchange zone. Signage will assist you and make it easy for you when you arrive.

Finish the Half Marathon Relay With Your Partner

If you ran the first leg of the race, hop the bus back to downtown and meet your partner at the corner of 10th Ave and St. Germain Street (right across the street from the Paramount Theatre). You can keep track of where your partner is at through live tracking on our Earth Day Run app. To view, download the Sportshive Live app from the App Store or Google Play by clicking on the App Store or Google Play icon below. Then select the Earth Day Run from the main menu.

Once you see your partner, feel free to jump in and run with them through the finish!
