Where should I park?

See our Friday parking information and Saturday parking information pages, for more details concerning what ramps and lots in downtown St. Cloud are available each day of the 2022 Earth Day Run.

Where and when is packet pickup on Friday?

For the Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relay, St. Cloud Subaru 5K and Kids Adventure 1K, packet pickup will take place on Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at River’s Edge Convention Center in Downtown St. Cloud. Please have one form of identification with you when you pick up your race packet. You may have your packet picked up by another individual, if you wish. That person will need to present his or her own ID to claim your registration. For only those competing in the 5K Corporate Challenge on Friday night, team captains for the 5K Corporate Challenge will pick up a packet with all team member materials. Team captains must present photo ID for recording purposes. If you are not a team captain, please find your team captain to collect your race day bib and clothing. Packets are sorted by team name.

Can I pick up my Half Marathon packet on Saturday morning?

We will automatically transfer any Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay packets not picked up on Friday night to our proxy pickup service on Saturday morning. You do not need to register for proxy pickup. The Capstone South Parent Association will provide race packets on Saturday morning starting at 6 a.m. Cost is $5. Reminders:

  • If you cannot pick up your packet on Friday, a friend can pick up your packet with his or her I.D.
  • There is no race day registration for the Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay.

Where is the starting line for all races?

All races will start near the River’s Edge Convention Center in Downtown St. Cloud.

See the following race pages for more details on when each race begins, courses and where each race ends.

How do the heats work for the start of Friday night's 5K?

Important! The 2022 St. Cloud Subaru 5K and GSDC 5K Corporate Challenge will run the race with a mass start. You will not be placed in heats.

When you arrive to the start line you should line up according to what you think your pace will be. Faster runners to the front and walkers to the back. Be courteous to the runners around you and do your best to pick a spot that fits your pace.

Your chip time will not start until you cross the start line timing mats, therefore your true 5K time will be recorded correctly on the results, presented by Granite Equity.  Start location will be on the E St. Germain Bridge, just steps north of the Rivers Edge Convention Center and Health & Fitness Expo.

If I am competing in the Half Marathon Relay, how and where do I meet my partner?
The Half Marathon Relay Exchange Zone is located at 839 Cummings Lane on Clearwater Road (just after Mile 6 of our Cetera Half Marathon)

Trobec’s buses will be running three relay shuttles the morning of the half marathon. They will pick up at the Metro Bus Station in Downtown St. Cloud (510 Street South), just 1 block south of our finishline/Expo area. Downtown pick up map is shown below. Buses will begin departing at the start of the half marathon, staggering 5-10 minutes. They will run an out-and-back route to pick people up and drop them off.

If you are running the second leg of the relay, you are encouraged to take these relay shuttle buses to the Half Marathon Relay Exchange Zone as there is limited parking available near the transition area that is open to the public.

If you prefer to drive your vehicle over to the Half Marathon Relay Exchange Zone, we have permission to part in the Holy Cross Church north end of lot near there. Please note: Make sure your first leg relay partner can drive the vehicle back to the finish area. Remember, downtown street closures will make it difficult/slower to access downtown and the parking after the race has started.

If you ran the first leg of the race, hop the bus back to downtown and meet your partner at the corner of 10th Avenue and St. Germain Street (right across the street from the Paramount Theatre). You can keep track of where your partner is at through live tracking on our Earth Day Run app. Once you see your partner, feel free to jump in and run with them through the finish!

For more information and to view detailed maps of the Half Marathon Relay Exchange Zone, visit our Cetera Half Marathon Relay race page.
